ALIF Partners is a creative management consultancy. For the past 20 years, we have collectively worked on some of the best and biggest brands in the world, as well as emerging organizations that are slated for greatness. Our associates and partners have global expertise and have worked in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

We focus on the For-Benefit sector or Fourth Sector which integrates social and environmental aims with business approaches. For-Benefit organizations are not defined by profit or its absence but by quality and impact.

The team at ALIF Partners recently completed a Labour Study for the Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI). An exhaustive project that including primary and secondary research gathering, analysis, reporting, and the design and layout of the final report.

In my time working with ALIF, I have found them to be creative, efficient and able to effectively manage large projects that involve multiple stakeholders.

About Alif

Make familiar that which is foreign.

ALIF is the first letter of the alphabet in Arabic, Greek (alpha), Hebrew (aleph), and many other languages. It is interconnection and culture, and the literal meaning is to be ‘familiar with’ or to be ‘on intimate terms with’. It is to begin, and is the foundation of modern language and communication. ALIF is to begin something and take it to its ending, it is to make familiar what is foreign.

ALIF is a concept that we embrace with our clients - delivering strategic expertise and knowledge in order to achieve quality, meaningful engagement within organizations and externally with customers and all stakeholder partners.

We are a Worker Cooperative, the first of its kind in Alberta. ALIF Partners is dedicated to our staff and strategic partners, and we believe organizations are stronger when success is shared.

    Pamela Muñoz Marketing Communications Lead Pamela has almost 20 years of international public relations and communications experience across tech, e-commerce, automotive, broadcasting and not-for-profit industries, with a strong focus on helping multinational corporations communicate in and from Asia. She also has a deep understanding of social media and its role in strategic corporate communications. Pamela aims to get more local organizations working across borders, nationally and internationally.

    Pamela has almost 20 years of international public relations and communications experience across tech, e-commerce, automotive, broadcasting and not-for-profit industries, with a strong focus on helping multinational corporations communicate in and from Asia. She also has a deep understanding of social media and its role in strategic corporate communications. Pamela aims to get more local organizations working across borders, nationally and internationally.

    Pamela worked with Alibaba Group in Hong Kong and Kia Motors Corporation in South Korea, initiating their social media and corporate communications strategies in Asia-Pacific and Latin America. She also helped multinational firms with their market entry strategies at local PR agency News Communications in Seoul. Prior to moving to Asia, Pamela created and implemented the national communications structure for the National Broadcast Reading Service Inc. (now known as AMI) from their Toronto headquarters, and worked in-house with Kellogg Canada Inc. on their consumer affairs team.

    Pamela holds an Executive MBA from Aalto University (Helsinki, Finland), a Public Relations Certificate from Ryerson University (Toronto, Canada) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada). She has lived in four countries and six cities in Canada, France, South Korea and Hong Kong (SAR, China). She speaks French, Spanish and English fluently, and dabbles in Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, Italian and Portuguese. She is also an avid traveler and scuba diver.

    She currently sits on the board for the Edmonton Business Association and is part of the executive team for Evolution Toastmasters. She is also a member of the International Association of Business Communicators.
